The timing of development of the Mekong River is difficult. It can cause massive changes that would impact and infiltrate all communities along the Mekong River. The Bru community is one of emphasis, located in Ban Tha Long, Khong Chiam, Ubon Ratchathani province. This transformative state was presented as a participating documentary work by photographic artist Janyaporn Seehabut, who began her entry into the community in September 2020 until April 2021. The purpose is to tell the story, with testimony of the villagers, of the impact that has occurred in this community. They must maintain their identity in reluctance because the source of the problem is across the border. Their way of life is changed but they must fight and struggle with the changing environment due to the state neglecting this problem across the border. But it is still only a light whisper that the state remained ignorant.
